Bichinho — Privacy Policy

Bichinho keeps your pet on your phone. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The only thing that leaves your device is the record of a purchase, if you buy Bichinho Pro.
What Bichinho stores
Your pet: its name, stage, needs, when it last ate, and your settings (bedtime, sounds, voice, notifications). That lives in the app's own storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
If you have Bichinho Pro, the Hall of Past Pets (name, form and dates of each pet you raised) is also kept in your own iCloud key-value storage, so it survives a new phone. That copy is in your iCloud account; we can't see it.
Purchases
Bichinho Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple. To check whether you own it, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app ID and your purchase history for Bichinho. It is used only to unlock Pro and restore it. It is not linked to your name or email, and it is never used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Microphone, speech, camera and motion
All optional, and each asks your permission first:
- Microphone and speech recognition: only while the mic button is on, so you can talk to your pet. Recognition runs on your device; audio is not recorded, saved or sent.
- Camera: to show your pet real food. The photo is looked at on your device and never saved or sent.
- Motion (steps): to count today's steps for walks. Steps stay on your iPhone.
- Local network: to let two Bichinhos on nearby phones meet. Only a pet's name, form and colour are exchanged, directly between the two phones.
What your pet says is written on your device (by Apple's on-device model where available, otherwise from built-in lines). Nothing you say to it is sent to us or anyone else.
Notifications, widgets and Siri
Local notifications, the Live Activity, the home screen widget and Siri shortcuts are all run by your device. No server is involved. Turn any of them off in the app's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Children
Bichinho is not directed at children under 13. It has no accounts and asks nothing about you.
Your rights
We hold nothing about you. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. For the purchase record kept by RevenueCat, write to the address below and we'll have it deleted.
Changes
If Bichinho changes what it collects, this page is updated first and the date above changes.
